AI transparency
This page explains in plain language how Clonix uses third-party artificial-intelligence systems and which duties remain with the user when publishing or distributing generated or modified content.
Content produced or transformed through Clonix may be wholly or partly AI-generated or AI-modified. The page is for transparency: it does not claim full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), Article 50, C2PA standards, or a guaranteed watermark or machine-readable mark on every output.
1. What Clonix uses
Clonix integrates third-party AI systems to generate or transform content (for example images, video, audio or text) at the authenticated user’s request.
Models and providers may change over time depending on the features offered. Processing may involve sending inputs (prompts, media files and technical metadata) to providers needed to fulfil the request.
2. Synthetic or modified outputs
Outputs produced through Clonix may be wholly synthetic, partly modified or based on materials you uploaded. They may contain errors, artefacts, distortions or unintended resemblance to people, places or existing works.
Not every AI-generated image or video is automatically a “deepfake”. Classification depends on context, content and how it is used.
3. User duties
Before publishing, sharing or commercially using an output, you must check its accuracy, legality and suitability for the context. Do not present synthetic or manipulated content as authentic or unaltered where that may deceive others.
Duties as author, publisher, professional or deployer of the content remain yours, including third-party rights, image rights and sector rules. This page does not replace those duties.
4. Deepfakes and disclosure
When content is or may reasonably be perceived as a synthetic representation of a real person (for example face or voice) in a way that may mislead, a clear and timely disclosure may be required under applicable law and good practice.
Clonix does not claim that every avatar generation or media transformation requires the same disclosure: assess deception risk, context and applicable rules case by case.
5. Provider marking and metadata
Some AI providers may apply markings, watermarks or machine-readable metadata (including formats such as C2PA) to outputs. Clonix has not fully verified whether and to what extent such markings are preserved through the technical pipeline.
This page does not claim that every Clonix output carries a compliant marking, a guaranteed watermark, complete C2PA metadata, or that Article 50 machine-readable transparency requirements are already met.
6. Limits of this page
This page does not list every model or technical parameter and does not replace the Terms, Privacy notice or specific private-area notices (for example for face uploads).
Features, providers and legal duties may evolve; the page will be updated when material elements change.
