Cookie policy
This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar storage technologies on the Clonix public website (https://clonix.cloud), in line with EU privacy and ePrivacy rules and supervisory guidance on cookies.
At present (Case A) the public site does not load optional analytics or marketing trackers. The policy mirrors the real technical inventory and the versioned preference logic in the code.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a site may store on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage.
Some tools are strictly necessary; others, if present, may require consent when they are not necessary.
2. Necessary tools (public site)
On the public site only necessary or equivalent tools are active:
- public language preference (localStorage clonix_public_locale);
- versioned technical preference v2 (localStorage clonix_cookie_consent) — acknowledgment, not consent to absent analytics;
- session/authentication cookies after app login (necessary).
3. Optional analytics and marketing on the public site
The public site currently does not load optional third-party analytics or marketing trackers.
An “Accept all” banner is not required for absent analytics or marketing. The system is prepared for a future Case B.
4. Summary inventory
Summary at present:
- clonix_public_locale — necessary;
- clonix_cookie_consent v2 — technical preference/acknowledgment, up to 365 days;
- authenticated session on the app — necessary;
- PostHog (private SPA) — outside www banner; L1B follow-up.
5. Preference management
“Cookie settings” remains available in the footer. In Case A, saving settings is not consent to optional trackers that are not loaded.
6. Preference retention
The technical preference is stored locally for up to 365 days (code v2), or until manually cleared.
7. Providers and private SPA scope
No optional marketing or analytics providers are active on the public site.
The private app may load product analytics (e.g. PostHog) outside the www banner.
